Biography: Paul Sanchez

Paul is a musician having at one time performed with many artists including Lyle Lovett, Dwight Yoakum and his own band, Clear Creek Ramblers. Beginning to play guitar in his teens, he went on to study music while enlisted in the Army and was part of the Austin music scene for many years playing with local artists such as Nancy Griffith and Blaze Foley. He played many of the local hangouts, including stints at the Kerrville Folklife Festival. He plays bass guitar (including stand-up), guitar, mandolin, and trumpet and is extremely gifted in music choreography. He currently leads an alternative Christian rock bank, Damage to Darkness.

Paul began his career in guitar amps after spending over 15 years in electronics. He ended up at Kendrick Amplifiers in Austin, where he perfected his craft. During this time, he began designing his own line, Red Iron Amps, and went out own his own in 2001. Because he is a musician, he knows what musicians want and expect from their amps.
